Henry the rescue dog taking a chairlift ride.  Great picture of Henry’s hut with I think Holy Cross in background.  Take a look at Henry’s Hut and the snow on the Yurt.  It would be a good practical joke to take a family/friend picture just by the door and have the snow drop (picture above).

Looks like until the Golden Peak terrain park in open snow boarders are enjoying the park under the gondola.

Chair 10 catwalk almost ready thanks to snow making all day!  The pictures of Sundown Bowl show us how much we need snow.  Took a picture of the Booth Falls area from a ski run which captured a good angle in relation to the Gore Range (VMS).  Eagle’s Nest area around 130pm felt like Spring.

I like the EpicMix application and functionality as it captures much of a skier’s activity on Vail Mountain.  However sometimes EpicMix will mess up as it had me riding 8 lifts + Gondola with a total of just over 4,00 vertical feet.  This is interesting as all vertical feet registered on EpicMix is based on chairlift rides.  Users do have the ability to correct their stats online with the “lift activity”  and “add lift” options but after a few adjustments it will remove these options to prevent swayed results.

My daily GPS results also captured by GPS MotionX iPhone app, great backup GPS app.  Usually EpicMix and MotionX are very close with results. (larger picture in gallery)
