Today was a one run day.  I did learn that the only way to hike in and ski is to start from the bottom of the mountain.  It is not allowed to take a lift then hike up to ski.  Hiking was not on my mind but I thought it would be nice to get new footage.

Golden Peak pre-season now is one of the world’s best alpine ski training facilities in the world.  I noticed Austrian and Croatian team members there today.  Ski & Snowboard Club Vail is training there daily as well.
