Highlights of the Minturn Mile ski run Vail Mountain (not officially a ski run and no lift access).

Access to Minturn, Colorado through out of bounds gates, This entry was located at the end of the catwalk to Lost Boy Game Creek Chair 7. The first 5-10 minutes will be good skiing if the snow is right but make sure it’s worth it as you will encounter a tree luge-like run for the next mile. We happen to take the run in very poor spring conditions. The first section was heavy wet snow and along the way we had to take skis off three times to avoid rivers and mud. However, I think it’s the journey that makes this run fun!
