Ski Camp Mid August Fonna Glacier Norway

Location – about a 30min drive up a spectacular pass from Jondal, Norway. It is such a beautiful drive looking over Fjords and avoiding the Sheep and Cows is such a fun experience.
Bergen – 114km approx. 2hr 40 min – requires ferry
Oslo – 601km 6hr 41min

Most teams stay here especially free ski and freestyle teams (trampolines). Meals are included and although it is very basic is does the job.

Be prepared to get wet and sometimes cold even in the month of August. The drive up to Fonna is one of the most beautiful drives in the world. About 50% of our expected training days were good with the other half cancelled or very wet due to weather. Each night they groomed the hill and salted lanes where requested.
