Today was a gorgeous day with 4″ new snow.  Some of the pictures were taken at the top of Snag Park where snow cats were hard at work.  It doesn’t take much time to get good pictures if the conditions are right.  On the hill for 1.5 hours today.

Had a conversation with a lady from Philidelphia who has been coming to Vail annually just before Christmas for the past 25 years.  Although today was pretty good skiing she said this was the worst she’s seen it in 25 years. Hard to believe this looking at the pictures above.

Had to take a short video to give you an idea of how the skiing was.  Held the camera in one and ploes in the other.   I didn’t have a helmet cam option today but wanted to share.  Slowed the video down to make up for the unstable shoot.
