Avante Fox Hole – who knows the story?

Discovered a fox hole which was marked in the middle of Avanti today (pictures above).  Does anyone know the story?  I heard that Vail Resorts discovered a fox hole and marked it to protect the fox.  I love the fact that VR is protecting the fox right now.  Wonder what the plan is when it snows again and the snow cats come out?  If anyone knows more to this story please comment!

Birthday celebration at The 10th, Vail’s new on-mountain dining experience.  The Raclette was the best!  Be warned that although an appetizer it should count as a entree, very filling and so good.
